Rolle’s Rental Car Company Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Eligibility:
1.1 The renter must be at least 21 years of age to rent a vehicle. Drivers between 21 and 24 years of age may be subject to a young driver surcharge.
1.2 The renter must possess a valid driver’s license issued by their country of residence. International renters may be required to present an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to their local driver’s license.

2. Reservation and Payment:
2.1 Reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
2.2 A valid credit card in the renter’s name is required to make a reservation and for payment at the time of rental. Debit cards may be accepted with additional verification and deposit.
2.3 Payment will be taken at the beginning of the rental period and covers the rental charges, applicable taxes, and any additional services requested.

3. Rental Period:
3.1 The rental period begins and ends on the dates and times specified in the reservation.
3.2 Extensions to the rental period must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.

4. Rental Rates and Charges:
4.1 Rental rates are quoted in the local currency and are subject to change without notice.
4.2 Rental rates are based on a 24-hour period. Late returns may result in additional charges.
4.3 Additional charges may apply for optional services such as GPS navigation, child seats, fuel, and insurance coverage.

5. Insurance and Liability:
5.1 Basic liability insurance is included in the rental rate. Additional insurance options may be available for purchase.
5.2 The renter is responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle, including theft and vandalism, during the rental period.
5.3 The renter may be liable for a deductible amount in case of damage or loss of the rental vehicle.

6. Fuel Policy:
6.1 The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental period.
6.2 A refueling charge will apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.

7. Vehicle Use and Restrictions:
7.1 The rental vehicle may only be driven by the renter and additional drivers listed on the rental agreement.
7.2 The vehicle must be used in compliance with local traffic laws and regulations.
7.3 The rental vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, towing, or transporting hazardous materials.

8. Maintenance and Breakdowns:
8.1 The renter is responsible for regular maintenance, including checking oil levels and tire pressure.
8.2 In case of a breakdown or mechanical issue, the renter should contact the rental company’s 24/7 assistance line for support.

9. Cancellation and Refunds:
9.1 Cancellations must be made within the specified time frame to qualify for a refund.
9.2 Refunds are subject to the rental company’s cancellation policy.

10. Termination of Rental Agreement:
10.1 The rental company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if the renter violates the terms and conditions.
10.2 Termination may result in the immediate return of the rental vehicle and forfeiture of any payments made.

By proceeding with the reservation and rental, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms and conditions outlined above and agree to abide by them during the rental period.
